I have just used the RIT to offset the receive when needed, Paul. Not a big
problem at all and has, so far, only come up when working stations running
AFSK. I need to make a few more contacts, perhaps this weekend, to see if
this is always the case.

Interestingly, I do NOT have to move the PBT as several have suggested, even
at 250Hz. I tune in the other station to match the 170Hz shift on the KAM
display with the 1.8 or 2.4 SSB filters engaged, and from there I can select
either 500 or 250 filters without touching anything else. It makes me think
the audio frequencies the KAM is looking for are not the same envisioned out
of the Paragon in TTY mode. I'll have to think on that a bit to see if the
KAM can be shifted for the difference. However, if I did that, I would
probably have to move the PBT when in RTTY. Hmmm...

Vic,
Does your 200 Hz offset issue mean you run split or do you cover it with
RIT?

Paul
