I stand corrected.

After making a dive for the book to refresh my memory, there is a standard 
2.4 KHz filter in the 9 MHz IF as well as the 6.3 MHz IF.  This is Y2 which 
is an 8 pole ladder filter.  This is also the same filter that is used in 
the SSB generation process.

Looking further there is also Y1 on the 9MHz IF which is a 15 KHz 2 pole 
monolithic filter and is located electrically in the very front of the 9 MHz 
IF.
