Dunno the problem but would suggest checking to make sure the ALC light is 
working on other bands.  If the ALC doesn't work (usually because of bad 
diodes) then the PA can oscillate.  If this happens, then the oscillating 
frequency may not be such that the lowpass filters in the Triton would pass 
the power to the antenna connector.

I have a friend with a Triton IV. On 10 Meters, the lights dim and and
his power supply protests when he goes key down, but there is no
output..  The rest of the bands seem to be fine.  Any suggestions that I
can pass  on to him?
