Grant,
I am waiting too and I have noticed that when using the old HW-16 I can hear
signals up and down the band and know someone is there and just tune them
in. Can't really do that with the ORION II, seems it has to tight a band
pass for 80 KHz monitoring! HI

I'm not really in hurry up mode either. I'd rather have it in (nearly, at
least) bug free condition when it arrives. It would be nice to have some
idea of the current state of things, though.

In the meantime I'm reliving my joys of the early 70's with a nice SB-102 --
lots of fun, and no point in worrying about color screens, 3rd order IP,
firmware, menus, or whatever ... :-)
