Grant, I ran the AM TX test "I think" you wanted. I was using a V1.37X version on the Orion. I varied the TX bandwidth from 3900 down to 900 while talking into the mike and transmitting, in AM, into a dummy load. The audio I hear in the Monitor, through the headphones, changes dramatically as I change the TX bandwidth. The audio highs are lost, in the Monitor audio, as the TX bandwidth is reduced from 3900 down to 900. I hope that answers your question.
