TenTec items For Sale:

TenTec 546 Omni D, series C, HF CW / SSB xcvr.
All solid state, with up to 100 W output. The ALC can
also be turned back with a front panel control for QRP
operation. Covers 160 through 10 meters, including the
10 MHz WARC band. Full QSK on CW, and a fantastic
receiver. Terrific audio quality on SSB also. Built in audio
CW filter. Digital read out. This one is in good shape,
but has some wear around the audio gain control. With
manual for $275.

25 amp switching power supply
This is a 25 amp switching power supply in a case that
matches the early Omni series case, with the metal bezel
around it. It is in a case that is the same size as a 243
remote VFO. It has an ammeter on the front, along with
Switch, TenTec logo, and output bulb. The front panel
basically looks like a 280 power supply with a metal bezel,
but says "Switcher/25" on it. It is very quiet, and well
shielded, and does not produce any electrical noise that
I could find. I am not positive if TenTec made this, or if it
is homebrew to look like TenTec. If it is homebrew, it
certainly is very professionally done. $120

TenTec 299 Voice synthesized frequency counter
This unit is used with the TenTec Omni 546 series A, B, C,
some Argonauts, Corsair, and others. It will work with
other rigs (such as the Triton), with minor mods to get
the right connections.
The 299 is used primarily for blind hams who can not read the
frequency readout on the transceiver. By pushing a button, it
will "speak" the frequency (to tenth of a KHz). A front panel
switch permits selection of the entire frequency, or you can
eliminate the MHz, and give only the KHz. There is also a
volume control on the front panel.
Of course it can also be used to give a "voice digital readout"
to a rig with an analog dial.
This particular unit is in great shape electrically. Cosmetically
it has some wear, especially close to the button that is pushed
to activate it. $ 190

WARC band crystal for 24.5 MHz for Omni C $20

TenTec 289 noise blanker for the Delta 580 transceiver
This very effective noise blanker can be added the 580 Delta
to help get rid of ignition noise, and is especially effective for
mobile use. It is a rare item! $100

TenTec 225 power supply
This supply is made to match the Argosy transceiver. It supplies
13.8 volts at up to 9 amps. This one is in very nice shape. I can
not find a scratch on it. Paper work included for $95.

Prices do not include shipping from Florida.

Thanks.

Ken, W8EK
