Hi Danny,
I think you should crank the voltage up to the rated 13.9V. I'm not
familar with the 262G supply but I assume it's like most others in that is
has a voltage adjustment pot inside. Set it for 13.9 volts with only the
receiver for a load. A drop of .75v is not too bad at full power but the
overall voltage is too low. 73 Jim k4CGY

There is no voltage adjust inside. Only a crowbar adjustment for
overcurrent.

However, you can jack up the voltage to 13.8 or so by adding a series diode
or two to the reference diode already there. (.6V for each added silicon
diode)

Works fine.

I have a very dumb question about the lightbulb - Which lightbulb, I or II,
and which version firmware?

I think a 600 watt amplifier driven by 40 watss fits
quite well into this requirement. It is actually 44
watts.

Could be carrier null setting on SSB, but more than likely is stray RF in
the shack caused by ground issues.

Just as a side note, until you own or borrow a nice dummy load, you can not
claim that you do not have antenna or feedline issues.

My Triton IV works fine on cw but has a problem on ssb. When the PTT is
closed the radio puts out about 10 watts of RF on 20 meters with no audio
applied. In addition when transmitting in ssb the minimum audio output is
about 25 watts with ALC and Drive turned fully CCW. My SWR is 1.4/1 so
there aren't any antenna problems. Any assistance is appreciated. Kim

I have seen numerous posts on the list here recommending AirPax breakers for
Ten Tec transceivers using non-Ten Tec power supplies. Could someone tell me
what model # I should use for a Jupiter?
