Choose the ProIII if you don't mind listening to buzzy-raspy sounding CW  and 
a wide-as-a-barn-door front end that lets in close-by strong-signal  
interference.  Be prepared to memorize a complicated menu system.  Oh  yes, you 
better 
have tiny little fingers to work the tiny little knobs to  control things 
like keyer speed.
 
Choose the Orion if you don't mind buggy software and a Noise Reduction  
scheme that hasn't worked since version 1.371. 
 
There is no "perfect " radio.  I would (did) pick the Orion.
