Running for about 36 hours in the VA QSO party I had the following issues:
1. 3 instances of lost receive audio -- solved by turning radio off and on.
This was a common occurrence under pre - 1.371 and has returned.
2. Erratic monitor volume -suddenly loud or feeding back for no reason --
setting kept changing throughout the weekend eventually settling on a setting
of 2 out of 100 to get it under control. Sidetone setting reduced to 7 out of
100.
3. noisy crackly sounding receive audio solved by spinning the volume knob
up and down
4. Completely ineffective NR. Please bring back 1.371!
5. The radio sounded way too hot -- like the preamp was on and the front
end overloaded with static and noise. Changing the RF gain or settings in the
AGC did not cure.
