This may be opening a bigger can of worms than my post about selling my
Scout, but here goes.
Search the e_ay auction site for electroluminescent. I have bought
several for use as lights on the boat.
Now the down side They have sticky tape on the back for mounting but
seems that it will come off with a bit of work.
Come with inverters for 9 or 12 VDC wires attached and they are
cheap.Also works great on 110, so they have lots of potential. 6-7 bucks
for 12X1.5 blue, green or 'white'.
You do have to be careful where you cut , but a quick web search gets
you all that info.
