thank you all for the input.I lowered drive and increased slowly,no 
prosc,unamped hand mic 600 ohm audio on seperate reciever sounded like kids 
unwraping a big present.as drive increased same sound heard but louder.did 
notice when drive started to light alc lite as lite flickerd scratch worsened. 
will make keyer to test side tone quality.thanks clark, ken ,dr.johnson de
