Not all TecTEc radios have AM. In the case of the Paragon, the AM
mode permits SWL, as the RX is general coverage.

I just noticed that AM is not a mode of operaton supported by the Paragon.
There is an AM mode button on the panel and the radio will select the 6K
filter in that mode and will respond to the tune button but it will not
transmit AM.
Is this the case with all Ten-Tec radios?
