Bill, Why do you think only in terms of 4 symetrical 1/4 wave antennas spaced on a 1/4 wave square for a single band? Because that is what your $350 dollar phasor forces you to consider. Once you are freed of $350 phasors there is a whole 'nother universe to consider. How is it W8JI's 4 antenna receive array can cover an octave of bandwidth instead of a single band?
