I'm interested in knowing what application omni directional mics have in ham
radio as I can't think of any off-hand. I'm aware of their usefulness in
recording where say, you have one with a choral group standing around it in
a circle, but in ham radio I can't think of any advantage to
omni-directional. In my basement it would just pick up a lot of echo off
the walls, and noise from various fans and blowers. 73 rob / k5uj
