Hi. The inserts are one-half inch across. I had some junk box stuff with different knobs but the same inserts. You gently stick a soldering pencil in the back of the knob. It melts through the plastic and pushes the insert out of the knob. Smells terrible. Scrape off the old glue and use a dab of contact cement to set them in the grey CII knobs.
