I did 1 part per million once with a 75S-3B on 40 meters in an FMT. That
was with 1 KHz dial divisions.

Now at VHF and microwave I find most rigs are precisely inaccurate and
so don't run a 50 Hz filter to find someone, as they aren't where they
or I think they should be. Then you get a bit of Doppler shift from an
aircraft reflection or a train reflection and what's received wasn't
what was transmitted (to say nothing of the Doppler shift through
satellites)
