Hi John,

Yes,... You can use computer control and the remote pod at the same time.
You have to connect the computer  to pin 2 (txd) and pin 3(rxd) and pin 7
(gnd)
The remote pod must be connected to pin 6 and 8, the 5 Volt for the remote
pod is on pin12.
These are the pins of the 25p sub D connector on the back of the Omni 6
You see for yourself on 4-45, 4-46 in the Omni 6 manual this is the diagram
of the TX Audio board.
This setup is working fine here for many years.
