George -
No, I have not seen this with either my Orion, or an Orion 2 that I
had in the shack for several weeks. DX4WIN should start completely whether
the Orion is on or off. You might try reinstalling - for some reason,
DX4WIN sometimes does not completely install itself.

Does anyone have the same problem that I am having with my logging program,
DX4WIN, and my Orion2?
If I don't have the O2 powered on when I boot up my computer the computer
hangs and won't completely boot up. I figure since the O2 is off DX4WIN
keeps trying to communicate with the O2 and won't let the computer boot up
all the way. I have DX4WIN to run at start-up.
I have to have the O2 turned on before I fire up my computer.
There are times when I'd like to use the computer and not have the O2 turned

on. I can only think I'll have to stop DX4WIN from running at start-up!
Thanks.
George
