Hello, I couldn't resist telling all how 'easy' it was to add a cooling
fan to the PA final fins. Just drilled four holes, then tied a 4-inch
115vac Rotron 'whisper-quiet' fan with plastic tie-wraps. The power
drain is 4-watts and my test was 80 watts for one hour and not even
110F at the end of the test.... Luke warm to the fingers!
A happy camper... W3RYJ, Jim Reed.
PS: My rig comes on through a power-strip so the fan only runs when
the rig is 'on'.
