My O2 sidetone also sounds fine, even with 2.037j.

Can you record it as a .wav file so we can take a listen??

ps. There is a t/r relay in the rear of the Orion that makes a quiet click on 
make and little chirping noise on break. Stupid question, but is that what your 
hearing????
