Folks, I failed to tell you in my first post that my rig is the Omni 6 with option 3, so I have two optional filter slots in the 9mhz IF. I tried a 1.8 filter in the same slot and it loses about 1/2 S unit with the jumper on lo, and has no loss, or maybe even a slight gain with the jumper on hi. Hope this clarifies things a bit, and thank you all for the help.
