[TenTec] Orion NR / SSB settings

Hello, I was wondering if someone would share their settings for running the 
Orion II noise reduction on SSB. I have tried several combinations, but it 
seems if a signal is weaker than about S5, it always gets a little raspy, and 
the weaker it is, the raspier it gets. I know the NR has been an issue lately, 
and I'm wondering if I am not using it the right way, or if it is a 
charachteristic of the current NR firmware. I've had a clearspeech DSP speaker 
before, and that is the style of DSP i'm used to. Any info is appreciated. 73,
