[TenTec] Line Out from DIN Socket?

As if that last query weren't evidence enough of ignorance, here's a 
lollapalooza: Is there a trick to getting line-level audio out of the 
8-pin DIN plug in the back? There seems to be plenty from the "line 
out" RCA plug in the back, but zilch from pin 4 of the DIN plug. I 
tried the other empty pins and got nuttin'. I know that I have to 
enable any *input* to that source, but if the output is disabled, how 
do I enable it?
