The good news is that the 5 pin DIN-to-Phono adapater came today.
The not so good news... all I got was the cable, no indication as to which
Phono goes to what. Yes, I know, it's probably in the manual; alas, when
the rig was loaned to me, the manual didn't come with it (and is probably no
longer available, which is another story).
Anyone out there with the info? I don't mind experimenting, and if I blow
up something in the laptop, that's one thing (the laptop's half dead
already), but since the rig isn't mine, I don't want to accidently damage
anything!

Subject: Argonaut V on Digital Modes
Well, I finally got off my kiester and ordered the 5 pin DIN-to-Phono
adapater for the Argonaut V I've been temporary custodian of, so that I can
interface it with my laptop for PSK and other digital modes. Had to add a
coffee mug to the order in order to make minimum, but so it goes...
Any suggestions on a "starter" software package to use on the laptop? (It's
still running Windows 98SE and probably will until it dies due to memory and
hard drive contraints)
