I finally found a link to the SDR-X with picture and specifications:

attachments on the Orions, however.

Ok, seriously.  A bit off topic, but out of curiousity, is there anyone out
with both an Orion or Orion II on the table with an SDR-1000?  Curious how
you think the radios compare.  I'm not jumping ship, but you can never have
enough hardware :-)

For the sake of keeping the flames and eternal threads down, it might be
best to reply privately ....
