Yes. They use different sockets. The remote pod form the Oiron does not
plug into the serial port.

Subject: [TenTec] Question on hooking up theTen-Tec 302 remote
encoder/keypad

I would like to hook up a Ten-Tec 302 remote encoder/keypad to my Orion
II.

At present the serial port on the Orion is in use hooked to my computer
for the computer logging program.

Is there is a way to have the Orion hooked to the computer and the
Ten-Tec 302 remote encoder/keypad, at the same time?

Thanks and 73,
