I have used a separate external switch control my Herc II via the control lines from the Omni V for many years now. It works fine; I can go from bypass (around 50w which is the "tune" level for the TenTec auto-ATU) to 400w, at the flip of the switch. And if the Herc dial lights are too bright, put a resistor in series with their ground connection. I did and they now match the Omni for brightness. -- John G3JAG _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
