I use the NR on the Jupiter mostly on 75 and 40 meter SSB on nights when there are storms about. It does a pretty fair job of reducing the noise spikes and makes the audio fairly easy listening. The Jupiter is not an Orion, Orion II, or an OMNI VII, but it IS a great rig for casual DXing, ragchewing, field day use, and the like. It's a lot of rig for the money, but TT's been doing that for years.
