I'm underwhelmed by the number of comments following my posting on Friday
regarding Tentec's planned fix for the sidetone artifact issue in v2.060b! With
all the discussion recently about this issue, I would have thought more than
one affected person would say something for the good of the order, particularly
if you always use headphones, run the RF gain down and use slower QSK, as I do.
Folks, this is potentially great news and shows that they're listening. So,
I'll post again the email I received Friday from Gary Barbour:
Hi Vince,
Thanks for the email. We've have received several comments regarding the audio
artifact at
the trailing edge of the CW sidetone.
The fix is in the new firmware which will be released next week.
