Chances are that the BFO crystal or crystals have drifted off of the slope of the bandpass filter. A re-alignment is likely required. Do follow the steps in the manual in the exact sequence. A good frequency counter of known accuracy is required as to oscillators need to be set to 1 Hz or better resolution.

Hello,
I have an Omni VI Plus that I really enjoy with one exception. The receive audio on USB (10, 15, and 20 meters) sounds very tight. It is hard to listen to for any period of time. Is there a fix for this?
