Hi to all It's very hard try to fix this kind of problems...because it isn't always present. This evening the OMNI V is perfect grrrrr.. The Omni V sometimes only on 80, 40, and 20 meter band lost sensibility... the signal is still audible but lower than normal 3-4 s unit, and when put the radio on TX with the key all come back normal.... Tony W1OT remember me on the manual service there is a connection between 80 and 20 band on the xtal osc-lo mixer board through y2 xtal, and could be the C4 variable capacitor.... and the same reason could be ok for 40m band fixing C5. But where measure something? and what? i will report next news Paul IK1QHB |
