[TenTec] O II receiver settings?

Hola,
I downloaded from the forum an excellent tutorial from YT1NT, Sinisa 
which is dated Mar 01, 2004. The title is "Using Orion's Receiver". I 
plan on A/B testing my K3 vs the O II and would like to have the O II 
optimized. My question is, does this paper also apply to the O II or 
just the O I? I am assuming that the publish date of 2004 makes it 
applicable for the Orion I.
Thoughts, suggestions or updated version of this tutorial?
