WRONG! The K3 ALLOWS you to work RTTY and PSK31 by sending CW. AND
it can be set up to decode RTTY, CW, and PSK31 on the LCD display!
But this is only ONE way to work these modes.

The K3 also ALLOWS you to work RTTY and PSK31 (and other digital
modes) by AFSK through a Line Input on the back of the radio. It
also ALLOWS you to send FSK PSK31 from a digital input. And it
ALLOWS you to feed the Line Out (or the speaker out, or the
headphone out) to a computer sound card to decode the digital
signal.

One of the major Beta testers for the K3 is a world class RTTY
contester. He's VERY smart, quite outspoken, and not shy about
telling Elecraft what he needs. They listen. He's a very happy guy,
and last I looked, had FOUR K3s in his station for WPX. He's also my
neighbor, friend, and member of our local contest club.

Jim K9YC
