My first transmitter was DX60. It ran 90 watts input power and about 60 watts output from a single 6146 on CW.

But those impedances are 6:1, not 4:1.

Thats before Ferrous type cores were used for you young folk. It was installed in series, at the output of the TUBE transmitter, like a DX 60.

The DX-60 would load up practically anything including the open coax
connector. It wasn't nearly as picky as modern SSB gear.

 I do not remember the power rating of it.  I use to have one.

I'm sure I have Heathkit catalogs with it in them.

Not sure if it had issues on 10 meters or not. Coil was about 8 inches long. about 2 or 3 inches in diameter. No capacitors, but its been too long ago.
