My first transmitter was DX60. It ran 90 watts input power and about 60
watts output from a single 6146 on CW.

It was installed in series, at the output of the TUBE transmitter, like a DX 60.The DX-60 would load up practically anything including the open coax connector. It wasn't nearly as picky as modern SSB gear.I do not remember the power rating of it. I use to have one.I'm sure I have Heathkit catalogs with it in them. Not sure if it had issues on 10 meters or not. Coil was about 8 inches long. about 2 or 3 inches in diameter. No capacitors, but its been too long ago.Keep The Faith, Jim K9TF/WA9YSD73, Jerry, K0CQ _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.comhttp://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
