I picked up a bargain Corsair II today with matching PSU and desk mic-
well, you never know when you might need a spare:)
At the price, I expected there might be a few problems, but all seems
well apart from:
1) PTO slipping. That's no problem - I have a rebuild kit, and I already
have one rebuild under my belt so I wont be so scared next time :)
2) On CW, with fast QSK selected, it doesn't drop back to Rx between
characters, even at slow speeds. The recovery time is shorter than if
you select SLOW QSK, but it's not the full QSK I have on my other
Corsair II. I don't recall there being any adjustment for the recovery
time, so I assume this is a fault. Before I dive in to fault-find, does
anyone have any advice on where to look? Has anyone seen this fault before?
