Before graduating to Ten Tec, I owned a string of Kenwood's starting
with the TS 820 and ending with the venerable TS 850s-
-sold just a couple of years ago.I learned to tune up the band and found myself often tweaking signals in the wrong direction when using the Omni VI. Old dogs and all that. Fortunately, my Omni VII allows RCW. Now it is just a matter of a few more sunspots so I hear more signals to tweak! 73, Gary W7TEA Before I bought a Ten-Tec Omni VI, I had used a Kenwood TS-440, which operates CW using upper sideband. |
