Gang!
while working on those scouts, I pulled down a old 509 I hve put back
on the shelf years ago.
found the problem and now it receives and transmits just fine.
however I find the audio to be a bit harsh.. it's way too high in
pitch for me.. everyone sounds good on it but the background hiss is
high pitched and the cw is "harsh"
sounds like maybe the bfo is running off freq
anyone heard of this?
