The key in socket is an RCA type receptacle and the only place to key
the rig on CW.. The transmitter is keyed by supplying a ground to that
receptacle. It does not matter whether you use a keyer output or a
straight key.

Hello,
I would like to hook up a straight key to my OMNI V however a friend
told me that he thought there was an issue with the 'key' in jack? Can
someone shed some light on if this is an issue?
