I was tempted to buy the Pegasus when it first  came out but waited for the 
Jupiter for the same reason -- It has knobs which is more like ham radio to me. 
However, it also can be operated in the Pegasus mode, using a computer,  
exactly the way you'd operate a Pegasus.
