RAM reset is:

Hold VFO B LOCK button down while turning on radio.

Master Reset:  Hold main rx/tx Ant1 button down while turning radio on.

Last night I put new wiring (#10 wire) from the power supply to the radio.
Much shorter and only connections are for the breaker and the ends.
Soldered
all connections, and now all seems OK. Thanks to all for the responses and
suggestions.
