Add me to the list of "lone voices." I'm not even sure if I'd know what to do
with an Orion, let alone appreciate it, even if I could afford to buy one or
have the opportunity to operate one as a guest. But I do know that I very much
appreciate Ten-Tec as a company that supports their equipment in the ten years
that I have owned T-T radios. And I appreciate Elecraft for the same reason -
as a company that provides repairable equipment and will work with users to
keep equipment functioning, just like Ten-Tec. Just the fact that current
Ten-Tec radios have the potential of being upgraded through firmware would be
sufficient for me. That a firmware deadline gets missed is not life and death.

Times are getting tough, so everyone needs to be prepared to be patient and cut
others slack, if not outright help.
