Did you have any luck selling your Omni C?
If not I am interested if the price is low enough. I have an Omni C that I
blew out the final transisters on by moving the band switch while
transmiting.
I had just rebuilt the pto and had the front panel off while testing and
turned the wrong knob.
My 9 year old grand nephew was out with his mother and three sisters to
visit the farm last summer and showed an interest in amature radio so I
fired up the Omni C and let him listen in on the ham bands.
I sent him home with the ARRL general manual and his mother says that she
catches him reading it in his bed room. He is a precocious young guy so
when they come back this coming summer and he has done his home work I will
see if I can get him passed on his general license. I told him when he left
last summer that if he got his license that I would give hime the Omni C.
So It needs to be fixed or I could buy yours and rebuild the pto and send it
home with him.

I recently wrote a post about my Omni C needing a pto rebuild. I have
decided not to try that or put any more $ into it that I already have.
It is cosmetically in good shape, looks good, has the xtal filters in it and
nb. It hardly drifts at all from a cold start and it is the best one I have
had as far as agc pop. Also I have the remote vfo and deluxe 255 ps with
speaker.
I will take best offer as I don't have a clue as to the worth of it or I
would trade on something like a Scout with at least the 80, 40 and 30M
modules or a good Argonaut, any flavor plus $ or another ten tec station?
