[TenTec] Argonaut 505 Slide Rule

Hello-
    I am fixing up an Argonaut 505 and found that the original red plastic 
slide rule indicator is missing. A piece of stiff wire is being used as the 
pointer with the dial cord and spring cord wound around it.
    Does anyone have a pointer or know what I might be able to make one out of?
