Hi Ron...as I reduce the PWR knob on the Orion...it seems to have no
effect...it still puts out 1.5 KW plus and with only 5 watts of
drive...thats whats weird...the beverages are nearly 500 ft plus away from
the transmitt antenna...the beverages come to a K9AY distribution box and
are distributed to 80m and 160m...the problem is Orion related and only on
the 160m position...we have feritte beads (8) on each beverage line...the
problem goes completely away when you deselect the beverage...go figure..de
