True. But the reason is not always inside the amp.

Better not to blow a $500 transformer.

And better not to spend $300 on shipping plus $300 to Ten Tec for fuses blown
on a power line spike.

BTW -- the power line fuses are shown on the schematic as 20A. I've always
used 15A Littelfuse type 3AB.
