Gee... a knotty problem for sure. Just to make it even more
complex... IF IT IS RF in the shack ... then it MIGHT show up
even when using the dummy load. IF is RF in the shack, it may
come in on a mic cable, even if you are on a dummy load.
It kinda depends on where the RF is coming in, I guess.
How have you checked your shack jumper cables? I once
solved a similar problem, after comments by Jim B and Bob K4TAX
compelled me to check the short jumper cables used in the shack.
It WAS a problematic jumper between the rig and switch box
and that is why it prevailed even when I was using a dummy load.
Maybe this is helpful.... hoping so.
