Fine, IF you have a 50 microvolt signal from a handy signal generator. If like the original poster you don't have such a generator, you punt.

Maybe these questions can help him hoarse in the proper settings better.

How many Microvolts per S unit should it be set for?

Can that be measured on the back of the meter or at the connect point on
the
board?
