Yes you need to connect those but be aware that they carry line voltage,
120 volts AC.
Also related I think if I run two straight through leads between the rig and
PS I will be
able to use either switch to turn the rig on, either the PS switch or the
one on the rig.
I hope this makes some sense.
Don't try to switch the DC with that switch in the rig, its only good
for 3 amps, not the 20 the PA can draw.
