Working with N4YG prototype - a grease free design.

Tunes nicely, one press instant QSY from 14.025 to 14.264 (example).
 
More range above and below the stock PTO limits.
 
Split operation, working RIT with deadband center. 
 
Tachometer speeds up tuning rate when the knob spins faster.
 
At present the dual receive is sacraficed, but onboard SPLIT is added. 
 
Here is a photo of the upgraded Corsiar II with a weighted knob for the 
encoder, but the original knob and skirt also work nicely after drilling out 
the knob.

I imagine if you started with OMNI 7 you might wonder why bother with Corsair 
II, but if you have any time using a Corsair, this seems like a really good 
idea. ;-)
