Rhombics do radiate, but I don't think they are the ultimate in antenna compared to a stack of modern long boom yagis. At one time W6AM had a rosette of a dozen large rhombics taking up 25 acres of land and was a big signal on the bands chasing DX. I have enough room at the farm to fit those but I won't. 73, Jerry, K0CQ On 12/4/2010 8:37 AM, Paul DeWitte wrote: > Jerry if you dont think rhombics are any good, maybe you should talk to > W0AIH who I think has 4 of them at his contest station. > > Paul > > _______________________________________________ TenTec mailing list TenTec@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/tentec |
